Coumans Case Studies

The business was purchased by the current owners five years ago. They are primarily a luxury item retailer but also provide shelf items and a servicing department.

In March 2008 the business was stalling and the owners knew something wasn’t working as the bank balance was going down and their creditors were getting harder to pay. It was at this point that they decided to approach Coumans to assist them in identifying the reasons for the problems that they were experiencing and to help them rectify those issues.

This IT company commenced trading seven years ago with the two directors as the sole employees of the business. Four years ago they purchased the second IT Company and the staffing levels went from two to eight team members within a year.

Coumans started working with this client in an advisory role in March 2007. The Directors wanted to continue to grow the business as profitably as possible and they required external help in order to achieve this.
